Hanover & Prince was giddy to learn this morning that Topanga (real name Danielle Fishel) from Boy Meets World will be mere steps from the North End on May 15 when she makes an appearance at McFadden’s in Faneuil Hall for “90’s Night”. Normally we wouldn’t be caught dead at McFadden’s on a Thursday night…and [...]

Wow. More dessert?

…TRACKED DOWN: “Ashecliffe” director Martin Scorsese and the fam enjoying Easter dinner at Lucca in the North End . . .
Our heart skipped a bit when we read this news because, well, we’re kind of [...]

On this dreary Friday morning (currently 41 degrees and raining), we’re trying our darndest to think about warm weather activities.
That’s why we feel obligated to encourage, no, command you to head over to any JP Licks location on Tuesday for free ice cream. They’re giving away free scoops all day to celebrate the Red Sox home opener vs. the Detroit [...]

Did you know the Marriott Custom House has an open-air, 26th floor observation deck open to the public? We sure didn’t, but we found ourselves up there on Sunday afternoon and got some great shots of the North End and Financial District. Below are a handful, enjoy!
1. North End
2. Old North Church
3. International Place
4. Looking [...]

If you’ve walked down Salem St. the past few days, you’ve probably noticed that Pasean’s has opened in the space formerly occupied by La Brace. We looked far and wide for an online menu, but we could only find one at CampusFood.com. We’ll wait for an official menu to pass judgement, but the Campus Food [...]
