Breaking News: Finale Coming To Former Martignetti’s Site?
April 6, 2008 by hanoverandprince
Wow. More dessert?
While waiting for our traditional bacon, egg and cheese at Beanstock this morning, we picked up the latest edition of the North End News only to read that delicious (and expensive) dessert joint Finale is in discussions to be one of the four new tenants at the former Martignetti site (picture below.) The paper reports that a deal could be done in days. The article also confirms what has been rumored around the neighborhood, that Cafe Graffiti (which closed its Hanover St. location last year), Christina Defalco Boutique (which is moving from Hanover St.), and an additional location of Gelateria will occupy three of the four retail spaces.
If the deal is finalized, it would be Finale’s first location on this side of the city. The original Park Plaza location opened in 1998, and additional locations have since launched in Harvard Square, Coolidge Corner, and at the Natick Collection. We will keep you posted when more details are available.
In the meantime, what say you, North Enders? Would you be happy with these four tenants? Let us know!
R.I.P.
