Channel 5 reported last night that a group of street toughs went all Manny Ramirez on a bunch of cars on Charter Street early Sunday morning.
Funniest part of the story, though, is this quote:
“This happens all the time with these young kids that are coming over. They have a beer or two after a game, and if the local teams lose they get upset,” said North End resident Freddy Petrino.
Huh? A local team lost this weekend? Seems to us that the Celtics advanced to the NBA Finals on Friday night and the Red Sox swept the Orioles in Baltimore. Maybe whoever did this just had “a beer or two.” Or 12.
