I never even moved off the couch last night during the fireworks. I was sure it would be over by the time I made it up on my roof. When they first started, I assumed the display was for a feast or something. I figured who else would pay for fireworks on a Monday night…

I searched around online and it looks like the display was a private corporate display for Parexel.

I googled it and on epa.gov found that “The Coast Guard is creating a temporary safety zone for the
Parexel Fireworks display to be held on June 23, 2008 in Boston,
Massachusetts.”

It looks like Parexel Pharmaceuticals was the company sponsoring the fireworks.
Couldn’t find any good reason for it. Those fireworks must have cost between 1/4 and 1/2 a million.

staying closed. Graffitti may be reopening in part of the space. I heard it was being divided into three spaces, but thats just neighborhood gossip, nothing official.

In addition to debit cards, I think it would be awesome if Beanstock offered some sort of coffee club addict card. Buy 10 get one free or something like that. Their prices have increased and they now out price Starbucks so I would think its doable.

The power went out in the Wu around 12:59, however it came back on and I reset my clock about two minutes later. Furthermore, the power went back out again and when I woke up I had a flashing 6:22. I was late for work!

H&P,

Woke up at 4:59 am to a clock flashing 12:35 am. Nearly four powerless hours? Not sure what to make of this. Pls advise.
